1. Introduction

Univerce, Inc. (“Univerce”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the Univerce platform — a social world builder powered by Unreal Engine 5.7 that lets users create, curate, and share museum-like 3D spaces with real-time multiplayer collaboration. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our website, early access program, and the Univerce application.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Account information. When you sign up for early access or create an account, we collect your name and email address.

Usage data. We collect information about how you interact with Univerce, including session duration, features used, assets placed, rooms created, and multiplayer session participation.

User-generated content. Rooms, asset arrangements, material configurations, camera tracks, and collections you create within Univerce are stored to enable saving, sharing, and multiplayer collaboration.

External media. If you import images, video, or audio into Univerce, these files are uploaded to our storage infrastructure (Supabase) and associated with your account.

Technical data. We collect device information, operating system, GPU model, screen resolution, and crash reports to diagnose issues and improve performance — particularly for Nanite and Lumen rendering optimization.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide and maintain the Univerce platform, including save/load, multiplayer sessions, and content sharing
  • Process early access applications and communicate with you about your account
  • Replicate your edits to collaborators in multiplayer sessions via the command history system
  • Store and serve your user-generated content and external media with appropriate permission tiers
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve core systems (asset placement, materials, cinematography, undo/redo)
  • Monitor collection adoption, manipulation time, and undo frequency to meet our product quality targets
  • Send you updates about new features, system availability, and early access milestones

4. Data Storage and Security

Your room data, asset configurations, and user preferences are stored using our save system with per-chunk persistence. External media is stored on Supabase with signed URL access and permission tiers.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. Multiplayer sessions use server-authoritative validation for all asset operations, ensuring that placement, deletion, and ownership transfers are verified before execution. Command history data is stored per-user with memory quotas to prevent abuse.

5. Sharing and Collaboration

Univerce is built for multiplayer collaboration. When you share a room or invite guests:

  • Other participants can see your asset placements, material choices, and camera tracks in real time
  • Presence indicators (avatars, cursors, selection highlights) are visible to all session participants
  • Shared experiences can be configured as view-only or editable based on access rules you set
  • Room owners can use moderator overrides to revert guest actions

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share anonymized, aggregated usage data for analytics purposes.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data, including saved rooms and external media
  • Export your user-generated content
  • Opt out of non-essential communications

To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@univerce.com.

7. Cookies and Tracking

Our website uses essential cookies for functionality (session management, preferences). We do not use third-party advertising trackers. Analytics, if implemented, will use privacy-respecting, first-party tools.

8. Children's Privacy

Univerce is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such data, we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of Univerce after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
