Last updated: March 19, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Univerce platform, website, or early access program, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use Univerce. “Univerce” refers to the social world builder application, the website at univerce.com, and all related services operated by Univerce, Inc.
2. Description of Service
Univerce is a real-time multiplayer world builder powered by Unreal Engine 5.7 with Nanite and Lumen rendering. The platform enables users to create museum-like 3D spaces, curate rooms with artworks, videos, and 3D assets, customize surfaces with materials, create cinematic camera tours, and collaborate with others in real time. The service includes asset placement, material customization, cinematography tools, multiplayer session management, and a command history system with undo/redo.
3. Early Access Program
The Univerce early access program provides pre-release access to the platform. By participating:
- You acknowledge the platform is under active development and may contain bugs, incomplete features, or performance issues
- Core systems (Asset System, Material System, Cinematography Suite) are available; Multiplayer Foundation is currently in development
- Features, interfaces, and saved data formats may change between updates
- We may reset, modify, or delete early access data as needed during the development period
- Early access is provided free of charge; pricing for the general release will be announced separately
4. User Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account or allow others to access it. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. User-Generated Content
You retain ownership of content you create within Univerce, including room layouts, asset arrangements, material configurations, camera tracks, and collections. By using Univerce, you grant us a license to:
- Store your content on our servers for save/load functionality and persistence
- Replicate your content to other users during multiplayer sessions you initiate or join
- Generate thumbnails of your content for inventory and sharing interfaces
- Process your content through the command history system for undo/redo functionality
This license is limited to operating the Univerce platform and does not transfer ownership of your content.
6. External Media
You may import images, video, and audio into Univerce for use on artboards, media boards, and decals. You represent that you have the right to use any media you import. Imported media is stored on Supabase with permission tiers and signed URL access. You are responsible for ensuring your imported media does not infringe on third-party intellectual property rights.
7. Multiplayer Conduct
When participating in multiplayer sessions, you agree to:
- Respect other users' creative work and not intentionally destroy or deface their content
- Follow the room owner's rules — room owners have moderator overrides to revert guest actions
- Not exploit the command history system, replication layer, or asset ownership transfers to disrupt sessions
- Not attempt to circumvent server-authoritative validation on placement, deletion, or ownership operations
8. Intellectual Property
Univerce, including its software, UI components, design, documentation, and branding, is the property of Univerce, Inc. The platform is built on Unreal Engine 5.7 and uses Epic Games' technology under license. Content assets included in the default library (furniture, materials, avatars, textures) are licensed for use within the Univerce platform and may not be extracted or redistributed outside of it.
9. System Requirements
Univerce requires a modern Windows PC with DirectX 12 support. Recommended specifications include an NVIDIA RTX 2070 / AMD RX 5700 XT or better GPU with at least 8 GB VRAM, 16 GB RAM, a quad-core CPU, and an SSD with 50 GB free space. Nanite and Lumen rendering features benefit from newer GPUs. We are not responsible for performance issues on hardware below the minimum requirements.
10. Limitation of Liability
Univerce is provided “as is” during the early access period. We make no warranties regarding availability, performance, or data preservation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Univerce, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including loss of user-generated content or interruptions to multiplayer sessions.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Univerce at any time for violation of these terms. You may stop using Univerce at any time. Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases, but we will make reasonable efforts to allow you to export your user-generated content upon request.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page. Your continued use of Univerce after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
